Nicholas Platts, Innovation

Nick comes to Cleveratom with recent experience as a software architect, creating mobile applications for large media enterprises. He also has considerable experience in building rich internet applications to support online communities and personalised learning.

Nick is passionate about making a difference through innovation in software design and the appropriate use of new technologies.

Matthew Eaves, Creativity

Matthew has led and worked worldwide on cutting edge creativity in learning projects with organisations including the BBC, Royal National Lifeboat Insitution, British Council, Oracle and Apple. He has been involved in peace work through creativity projects in Ireland and Thailand.

Matt presents and consults on how technology when used for creative purpose can unlock learning. He maintains our digitalcreativity.org website which documents our track record in this field.

Hal MacLean, Learning

Hal is a former Primary School Headteacher and consults with schools and colleges about the best use of physical and virtual learning spaces, how ICT can be used and how new and emerging technologies can be leveraged to improve learning.

Hal is heavily involved in the ‘Building Schools for the Future’ programme acting as a consultant to bid teams, schools and local authorioties, and also speaks at conferences focussed on creative learning opportunities.

Alex Blanc, Technology

Alex has a strong background in software development, specifically for web based technologies.

He has a particular interest in online social software and tools to aid collaborative learning, and looks to utilise emerging technologies in the projects he runs with high profile project partners from around the world.

With an envious track record Alex takes a very creative approach to his work.

Alex spends his spare time searching the neighbourhood for his mischievious cat.

Hai-sing Deakin, Technical Development

Hais is part of Cleveratom’s growing development team. With extensive skills in PHP and database development Hais is hard coding cutting edge projects for Cleveratom clients.

Reflections are sometimes made on Hais’s blog, often relating to his work in technology.

Hais enjoys blueberry flavoured muffins and does not like tea or coffee.
